We prepare technical reports and Assessments of Environmental Effects (AEE) to support water-take and discharge consent applications. Our services include pump testing, allocation analysis, and clear expert reporting for councils and planners. We help farmers, councils, and industry navigate complex and changing regulations, making the consent process straightforward and less stressful. We also support infrastructure and residential developments where groundwater, stormwater, or discharge consents are required.

Bore Development & Community Water Supplies

From farm bores to community water schemes, we support siting, drilling supervision, step- and constant-rate testing, and commissioning, ensuring reliable water sources for the long term. We design and develop efficient bore systems, providing sustainable water extraction solutions tailored to each client's requirements.

Environmental Monitoring, Discharge & Compliance

We design and manage monitoring programmes for councils, farmers, and industry. Services include water quality sampling, stormwater management, data logger installations, and compliance reporting. We also support effluent discharge consents, seepage and soak pit assessments, and groundwater mounding analysis to protect rivers, wetlands, and aquifers.

Methods & Tools

Hydrogeoex is equipped with precision pressure gauges, dip meters, low-flow pumps, and specialised water sampling equipment. We also use high-accuracy GPS, drone surveys, and GIS to support site work and environmental assessments. For aquifer pump testing, we work alongside experienced drillers to manage large-scale pumping equipment safely and effectively.
